Ronald King, a retired command sergeant major who later worked for the Department of Homeland Security, has poured his heart and soul into this project. With over 0,000 invested in the car, King has transformed his Corvette into a true showstopper. The vehicle's paint, which he describes as "effervescent pearl outrageous," features pigments that reflect light in a way that makes the car appear to change colors as you walk around it, ranging from aqua blue to Carolina blue to seafoam green.

A Decade of Accolades and Achievements

This is King's 10th year showcasing the Chameleon Vette, and he has already shown it 700 times, earning more than 1,000 awards. At the Super Chevy Show, King's dedication and craftsmanship were recognized, as he won the Best in Class award for the Corvette 2005 to Current – Modified category, earning two plaques and a jacket to add to his impressive collection of accolades.

However, King's mission extends far beyond just car shows and awards. He sees his Chameleon Vette as a platform to inspire and motivate young people, encouraging them to stay in school, pursue a good education, and stay away from drugs, crime, and gangs.
